Ytterbium Nitrate Hydrate Yb(NO3)3 5H2O CAS 35725-34-9 For Laser Glass
product detail
Name: Ytterbium nitrate, Ytterbium nitrate hydrate Molecular formula: Yb(NO3)3·5H2O
CAS: 35725-34-9 Molecular weight: 449.13
Description: Ytterbium nitrate pentahydrate is a colorless and transparent columnar crystal, which has hygroscopicity and is soluble in water. Ytterbium nitrate hydrate decomposes by heating to produce YbONO3, and ytterbium oxide is obtained by heating continuously. The preparation method is to dissolve ytterbium metal in nitric acid, or to react ytterbium oxide with nitric acid, and to crystallize ytterbium nitrate hydrate from aqueous solution.
