Terbium Sulfate Tb2(SO4)3 nH2O CAS 13842-67-6 For Fluorescent Materials
products features
Name: Terbium sulfate, Terbium sulfate hydrate
Molecular formula: Tb2(SO4)3·nH2O
CAS: 13842-67-6
Molecular weight: 750.16
Description
Terbium (III) sulfate is a white monoclinic crystal. It is soluble in water but has little solubility in water. Its solubility is 3.56g/100g water at 20 ℃. It is stable at normal temperature and pressure. Terbium sulfate has green fluorescence under UV light. Dissolve high-purity terbium oxide in dilute nitric acid, add a little more dilute sulfuric acid than the reaction measurement to the solution, then add a large amount of 95% ethanol to the solution to precipitate the terbium sulfate crystal, filter out the precipitate and wash it with 95% ethanol to chlorine free ion and free acid, and dry it in air.
