Samarium Oxide Sm2O3 CAS 12060-58-1 For Super Hard Abrasive
products features
Name: Samarium oxide
CAS: 12060-58-1
Molecular formula: Sm2O3
Molecular weight: 348.72
Description
The rare earth chloride solution obtained from monazite or mixed rare earth ores was extracted by P204 kerosene system. First, Neodymium and Samarium were grouped, Samarium and heavy rare earth were extracted into organic phase, then HCl was used for stripping medium heavy rare earth. After reduction by zinc powder and extraction of Europium by alkalinity method, Samarium and Gadolinium were separated by mixed rare earth group method. Samarium oxide is prepared by dissolving, precipitation, separation, drying and burning with oxalic acid.
