products features
Name: Neodymium fluoride, Neodymium fluoride anhydrous
Molecular formula: NdF3
CAS: 13709-42-7
Molecular weight: 201.24
Description
Neodymium fluoride is a white purplish red powder, insoluble in water, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and sulfuric acid, but soluble in perchloric acid,NH4FNdF3 insoluble double salt is formed with ammonium fluoride. The preparation method is to add hydrofluoric acid to neodymium salt solution, or to prepare hydrated neodymium fluoride from neodymium hydroxide and hydrofluoric acid, and then to get neodymium fluoride by vacuum heating.
