    products features

    Name: Praseodymium hydroxide
    Molecular formula: Pr(OH)3
    CAS: 16469-16-2
    Molecular weight: 191.93

    Description

Praseodymium hydroxide is a light green powder, soluble in acid, insoluble in water, easy to absorb carbon dioxide in the air. Praseodymium oxide dissolves in nitric acid solution, heats up reaction, adds sodium hydroxide solution to hot nitrate solution to precipitate praseodymium ion. The praseodymium hydroxide can be obtained by filtering precipitation, washing several times with three times of distilled water and drying at 105 ℃.
