Rare earth acetate has a stable structure at room temperature and does not deliquesce. Currently, the main raw materials for the synthesis of rare earth acetate are rare earth carbonate and rare earth oxide. The traditional synthesis method is a "two-step method". The specific process is to first mix rare earth carbonate or rare earth oxide with an acetic acid solution of a certain concentration, stir the reaction at a certain temperature for a certain period of time, and then filter the prepared rare earth acetate solution. The prepared rare earth acetate solution is then heated, concentrated and crystallized to obtain rare earth acetate crystals.
