    Description

    Neodymium oxalate is monoclinic. Insoluble in water. The neodymium oxalate can be precipitated from aqueous solution when it is dissolved in water at 25 ℃ for only 0.49 × 10-4mg / L. Neodymium oxide is dissolved in dilute nitric acid by heating reaction, and then added to methyl oxalate aqueous solution. After fully mixing, reflux for 3h, oxalate precipitates. Put it overnight at room temperature and filter it, wash it with water, ethanol and ether in turn to form neodymium oxalate hydrate.
