Neodymium Hydroxide Nd(OH)3 CAS 16469-17-3 For Laser Crystal Additive
Feature
Name: Neodymium hydroxide
Molecular formula: Nd(OH)3
CAS: 16469-17-3
Molecular weight: 195.26
Description
Neodymium hydroxide is a purple or violet powder, soluble in acid, insoluble in water, easy to absorb carbon dioxide in the air. Neodymium oxide dissolves in nitric acid solution, heats up reaction, adds sodium hydroxide solution to hot nitrate solution to precipitate neodymium ion. The neodymium hydroxide can be obtained by filtering precipitation, washing several times with three times of distilled water and drying at 105 ℃.
