Indium Hydroxide In(OH)3 CAS 20661-21-6 For Additives Of Mercury Free Alkaline Batteries
product detail
Name: Indium Hydroxide Molecular formula: In(OH)3
CAS: 20661-21-6 Molecular weight: 165.84
Description: Indium hydroxide is a white colloidal precipitate, insoluble in water and ammonia. Soluble in potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide, soluble in acid. It is heated slowly and dehydrated to 600 ℃ to form indium oxide. Indium hydroxide can be prepared by dissolving indium with dilute hydrochloric acid to form indium trichloride solution. The solution was heated to 100 ℃ and a little excess ammonia was added to make it precipitate. The solution was then aged at 100 ℃ for 6-7 h with the mother liquor. Indium hydroxide can be obtained by washing and precipitating until there is no Cl- after filtration and drying at room temperature.
