Description: Europium nitrate is light pink or white crystal, soluble in water and acid, soluble in tetrahydrofuran, slightly hygroscopic. After reaction of slightly excessive Eu2O3 with hot nitric acid, remove unreacted oxide by filtration, cool crystallization, suction filtration and dry to obtain product europium nitrate.Europium nitrate should be stored away from fire and heat source. Protect from direct sunlight. Package sealed. It shall be stored separately from reducing agent, inflammable substance and edible chemicals, and shall not be mixed.
