Description: Cerium nitrate is colorless or reddish crystal, soluble in water, alcohol and acetone, and the aqueous solution is acid. The preparation method is to hydrolyze cerium rich rare earth hydroxide acid solution, dissolve it in nitric acid, reduce cerium 4 to cerium 3 in the presence of oxalic acid or hydrogen peroxide, and then crystallize and separate it to produce cerium nitrate.
